Trying to figure out southern culture? As Alabama and Virginia Tech kicked off the season (from the perspective of our household), I heard one of the newscasters clarify where football fit into southern culture...God, football, family...Nuf said.
Where does college American football fit into your life?
I'm an absolute fanatic fan. (See the red mohawk among my facebook pics. http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=conley+bush&init=quick#/photo.php?pid=38561221&id=27433850) But really, when it comes down to it, football is just entertainment. I just enjoy the game in the moment. I don't waste a lot of brain cells remembering plays and stats, I have a good time (win or lose, but winning is a lot better) then go on about my day / evening.
