  1. I am currently enrolled in college. The degree I am working toward right now is an Associates in Elementary Education. I think I would rather be working toward something else. My passion lies with people from other countries who are having a difficult time here. I am especially attached to the Hispanic community. Do you have any suggestions?

  2. There is quite a bit you can do with a degree in education. Have you considered focusing on English as a second language? Check out the UAB English Language Institute.

You can also double major. A teaching degree is practical. It gives you a career and summers off. You can major in Spanish as your second major.
